Description
Download and install Rancher Desktop 0.6.0 (for the Current User.)
Note: Rancher Desktop can only be installed per-user (not system-wide), and so this BigFix Task is only relevant when the user is logged in to the target computer.
Note: Rancher Desktop only works on recent versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11 where Hyper-V and Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL) are installed and setup (Microsoft's requirements detailed here.) If WSL is not installed when launching Rancher Desktop, then an error message will be shown. To install WSL, the official Microsoft instructions should be followed, or use the script based on these instructions created by the Rancher Desktop installer (<System Drive>:\Windows\Temp\rancher-desktop-install.ps1) which installs WSL and the Hyper-V pre-requisite.
