I ran this a few times and each time it appears that IE remains on a windows 2016 server.

Also Microsoft notes: "If you remove Internet Explorer by using DISM, the iexplore.exe entry point is removed from the file system, but its rendering engine remains on the system. Therefore, you should continue to install security updates that apply to Internet Explorer even after you disable it, as applicable." Eventually Microsoft will release an official patch to remove IE 11 completely

Note: Tested on Win 10 and Win 11 and Windows 2019. Worked on all 3 but would be curious if anyone found any issues

Note the 2 actions available in this fixet. The first one does not reboot automatically, the second action selection does.
