Version 7.2 of the BigFix Enterprise Suite is now available!

BigFix 7.2.5 is a patch update to the previous 7.2 release. The most important changes are BigFix Agent changes to address a number of issues in the BESClientUI. All BigFix 7.2.5 components are forward and backwards compatible with all other 7.2.x components and can be upgraded in any order. We recommend for customers running 7.1.x, 7.0.x, or 6.0.x versions to upgrade in the order specified below. All customers are recommended to upgrade to 7.2.5 for the latest fixes, updates, and enhancements. This Fixlet message will upgrade all BES Clients on the targeted computers.

You must upgrade your BES Relays before upgrading your BES Clients.

Note: This Fixlet message will only become relevant on computers after the BES Server has been upgraded. It may take a little while for the BES Clients to notice that the BES Server is upgraded.

Note: BigFix recommends that you run this upgrade targeted to "All Computers" rather than to "Specific Computers" so that all old BES Clients will get upgraded.

Note: This upgrade may take several minutes to run because the BES Client service will be restarted as part of the upgrade process and the BES Clients will not report their action results right away.

Note: The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 BES Client also supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0.
